First Game 2.0!

First off, I'll give a recap of what Taye did (that's both his real and player name, in fact):

He met their employer, Virmalus, on the world of Fallis Physyria, in an abandoned city in the desert (lots of ins). He was given orders to repair a vessel on the planet Epsilon Sigma 71B and then await further orders.

He arrived in an abandoned ship overcome with vegetation. He rebooted a nearby droid, setting himself as it's commander below the AI system, and explored around for a bit before repairing the generator (and dealing with pesky rodents). He also learned from the droid that the ship had been overrun by moving plants before the power shut off. With the power back, however, he was rerouted to the AI system, and had to go through a brief reboot process. The AI, Cassandria, had no memory of her mission, but was able to look up databases on the subject and get a basic understanding of the situation.

By now, Taye had learned the objective of the vessel; it was sent to explore and research the planet after a previous colonization effort from another nation had failed miserably. This mission itself was considered a failure after the communication was lost, but the ship persisted in its efforts. The local population was known to be very violent plant people that hated outsiders, but the ship still planned to make friendly relations with them.

Taye then met a group of natives that had started living in the ship, and soon became friendly with them. A translation device was set up to subconsciously teach them English, and they were put at friendly terms (they were a father, mother, and son, as well as two sprouts for future children).

There ws then an encounter where a group of tree people (riding a tree no less) came up and warned Taye not to harm the forest; otherwise, it would mean open war between them. He (the leader of them) then warned Taye that while he would accept an amount of deforestation so long as they replanted what they took, there were others who held the forest more reverently and would likely attack them for no reason. At this point there became a distinction between Tree People (slow thinking and powerful), Plant People (peaceful like the ones living in the ship), and Bush People (the violent ones).

At this point, we went on Google Hangouts and played with the other two players.

Quigley Isstvan (the king) and Trr'chik (the alien) arrived on Fallis Physyria and received there orders from Virmalus (basically the same as Taye's). They had to deal with a brief misunderstanding upon first arriving, but things settled down and they got to meet the AI. They discussed what to do next, and after Quigley was shot down repeatedly on the point of flying off to destroy the plants nearby and going to war with the plants (despite the AI's direct orders otherwise), they decided to get a ship from a nearby Tallan station (the Tallans having owned the ship before it was abandoned) so they could go get supplies. Taye hacked the databases to say that they needed a ship, and one was sent promptly.

When the ship arrived, the pilot turned out to be a fourteen year old boy (they still don't know his name). They got him to take them to a nearby planet so they could start mining and found the planet to be very cold and dark but covered in iron. After an hour of mining, however, they were confronted by a group of insectoid warriors. Trr'chik, understanding their language, knew they were saying they planned to kill them.

They fought off the warriors and escaped to the ship again...

See you again soon!
