DANG IT.

There's a pattern here, you know; I say "This is the campaign!" and then it don't work.

We're gonna start a Pathfinder game on a world where ship travel is vital (since I've had a long founded interest in ships), and the layers are rampant adventurers that have somehow acquired a small vessel and crew. What are they gonna do? Your guess is as good as mine! I have a few ideas in mind for locations, but I've decided to abandon any set story; instead, they'll be able to find and become a part of whatever story they want. As they explore, I'll build the world around them and decide what they can do. My only idea going in is a generic world map and a few good locations!

Here are the players' ideas so far for characters:

Nick: Playing a Kobold Rogue

Joel: Playing a Gnome Cleric

Robert: Playing a Human Monk (he had an Elf Wizard at first, but when we did a trial run he realized he didn't like the spell system too much, I think)
